Unique Signs For Marketing: Out-Of-The-Box Business Signs

When you look at commercial signage, you find that many of them look the same. They're crafted from the same materials, they use much of the same lighting, and they all kind of run together. I decided that there had to be a better way to market a business. That's when I started looking into how to do custom signs made from things like hand-crafted metal, reclaimed wood, and similar types of materials. I created this site to share my signage and marketing tips that I've learned in the hopes that other business owners will see how easy it is to step outside the box.

4 Ways To Increase Marketing Of Your Company During The Summer

by Jordan Lopez

It takes a lot of effort to generate customers when you run a small business. Summer is a great time to connect with customers and grow your business. Here are four ways to increase marketing and reach more customers this summer.

#1 Attend Local Events

One of the first things that you need to do is step up your presence in the local community with your business. Start signing up to have a booth at local fairs, expos and special events that are hosted in your community. Create a booth, complete with an attractive vinyl sign, to draw guests in so that you can educate them about what your company can offer them. Be sure to give away some freebies that customers will enjoy, like water bottles or hats, with your company logo on them.

#2 Sponsor Local Events

Next, you should sign up to sponsor some local events. For example, if there is a concert in the park organization, consider going in as a sponsor. Or consider sponsoring a youth sports league in your area. Sponsoring local events will allow you to write off your contributions on your taxes and is also a great way to increase your visibility.

You can use signs to advertise your sponsorship at the event itself, and your company logo may also be used on other merchandising material and clothing. Being involved in your community can help create good will around your company as well as brand awareness.

#3 Hold Summer Sales

Summer is also a great time to hold some fun sales. Attract some new customers by holding a sidewalk sale for your business or another summer-themed sale. Everyone loves a good sale, and a sidewalk sale, or Christmas in July sale, is a great way to get new customers to spend money at your business.

To advertise your sale, you can create some sidewalk signs that you can put in the ground with some posts. Put them up near and around your business in order to draw in new customers.

#4 Run A Contest

Summer is a great way to run a contest. You could give away a shopping spree to your business or you could give away a package of your services. Everyone loves a contest, and it can really tie together the other three marketing strategies from above. You can use the contest to draw people into your booth at local events, to create buzz around your sponsorships and to draw people into your summer sale. It can help you find new customers who are enticed by the contest and help you generate new sales as well.

Finally, make sure that your storefront sign is easy to read, attractive and professional looking. If you have an old storefront sign, you may want to update to a new colorful LED sign through a place like MaxxLite that will help make your storefront stand out more. Drawing in more customers and increasing business takes a comprehensive strategy.
