Unique Signs For Marketing: Out-Of-The-Box Business Signs

When you look at commercial signage, you find that many of them look the same. They're crafted from the same materials, they use much of the same lighting, and they all kind of run together. I decided that there had to be a better way to market a business. That's when I started looking into how to do custom signs made from things like hand-crafted metal, reclaimed wood, and similar types of materials. I created this site to share my signage and marketing tips that I've learned in the hopes that other business owners will see how easy it is to step outside the box.

Great Ways To Use Decorative Letters Around Your Home

by Jordan Lopez

Your home should be uniquely yours. What better way to add style and a personal touch than by incorporating letters into your décor design. No, not quite like the letters that lined the walls in your primary class, but you can easily use letters with a more stylish and mature approach. Here are just some of the awesome things you can do with one-inch letter board plastic letters in your home.

Create a Pop of Color

What's a low-cost way to add a pop of color to any room? Add some unique color to the wall. For instance, in a room with a black sofa and black furniture, rather than spending a lot of money for an expensive accent chair or other piece, you can simply add some letters to the wall painted in a great, contrasting color. This way, you still get your pop for a fraction of the cost.

Designate Function

Letters are also a great tool for designating function in a room. For instance, if you want to carve out an area of the den for your children to keep their toys in, spell out "play" with your letters on the wall of that area. If you decorate these letters, this won't just serve as an awesome piece of wall art; it will also help serve as a reminder for your children that this is the space for play, serving a dual purpose.

Send a Message

A home should be an inspiring space. Take this idea a step further by sending a message with words around your home. For instance, want to ensure everyone comes home with a great attitude? Use letters to spell out "be happy," on the wall just opposite the front door. Each time someone walks in, they will see this message and be reminded to smile.

Let Personalities Shine

Decorating with letters is also a great way to let everyone's personality shine. For instance, does your teenager want to spray paint their name on the wall in their bedroom? Well you can give them the next best thing in the form of letters. You can purchase plain letters to spell out your child's name and allow them to decorate the letters in any way they see fit. This way, they get the style they want and you get to protect your walls.

When it comes to using letters around your home, your options are basically unlimited. All you need is a little creativity and you can go from there. With letters in various sizes, materials, and styles, you have plenty of options to choose from.
